Fitting Room Usage Policy Update
Item Guideline
To provide a smoother fitting room experience for all customers, UNIQLO may apply a fitting room item guideline during busy periods such as weekends, public holidays, promotional periods, and other peak shopping times.
During these periods, customers may be requested to bring up to 3 items per fitting room entry. If additional items need to be tried on, customers may be asked to rejoin the queue after completing their first fitting room session.
When fitting room demand is lower and fitting rooms are readily available, our store staff may exercise flexibility based on the actual fitting room situation and customer needs.
1. What is the UNQLO new fitting room guideline?
Customers may bring up to 3 items into the fitting room per entry.
If customer like to try on additional items, we would like to invite customer to rejoin the fitting room queue after trying on the first 3 items.
2. Why has UNIQLO introduced this new fitting room guideline?
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this guideline may cause and appreciate your kind understanding.
This guideline helps provide fair access to the fitting rooms, reduce waiting times, and create a smoother fitting room experience for all customers, especially during busy periods.
3. Will my remaining items be kept for me?
If you have additional items that you wish to try later, our staff may assist in keeping the remaining items together in your shopping basket while you complete your current fitting room session.
Please keep personal belongings with you and follow the store team’s guidance for the remaining merchandise.
4. Are there any exceptions to this guideline?
We understand that some customers may require additional assistance. Store staff may exercise flexibility depending on the fitting room situation and the customer’s practical needs.
Examples may include parents assisting young children, pregnant customers, elderly customers, or customers who may experience difficulty entering and exiting the fitting room multiple times.
Any flexibility provided will be based on fitting room availability, queue conditions, and practical customer needs at the time of the visit.
5. Why do I need to rejoin the queue if I have more items to try on?
Rejoining the queue helps ensure fair access to the fitting rooms for all customers and supports shorter waiting times during busy periods.
Once you have completed your fitting room session, you may rejoin the queue to try on additional items.
